This caricature of William Bendix was the basis for his caricature in the credits of Variety Girl, and was apparently later the basic caricature in the opening of the television show Life of Riley that Bendix appeared in. This was supposedly done by T. Hee as well.
I remember Bendix most as the big lug in Hitchcock's Lifeboat.
