King Vitaman (Not King Vitamin) was a Quaker cereal full of vitamins introduced in 1970. By 1974 (based on 1974 magazine ads), this Jay Ward produced cartoon version was gone and some ugly real guy was the spokesman. The cereal is still produced (it has a new, uglier cartoon king mascot), tho I have no recollection of having ever seen it.
